The short answer
What are shilajit drops?
Shilajit drops are liquid shilajit: the mineral-rich resin that seeps from high mountain rock, turned into a concentrate you measure with a dropper. Himalayan Healing makes its drops from its own purified shilajit resin, collected above 17,000 ft in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, and cold-extracted at low temperature with purified spring water. Each 30 ml bottle holds about 55–60 servings of 5–10 drops, and every batch is tested by independent labs before it ships.

What's in the bottle
Two ingredients. Read the label in five seconds.
Many liquid shilajit products are mostly glycerin, alcohol or flavouring around an extract nobody can trace. Ours starts as whole resin from our own facility and stays that way.
Himalayan shilajit extract
Cold-processed from our purified resin. Keeps the naturally occurring fulvic compounds and trace minerals of the whole resin.
Purified spring water
The liquid base, for stable texture and an accurate dropper dose.

Where it comes from
From the place where three mountain ranges meet.
Our shilajit is collected by hand from rock seams in Gilgit-Baltistan, where the Karakoram, the Himalaya and the Hindu Kush converge. We work directly with the highland collectors, grade every rock ourselves, and carry it down to our own facility. Nothing is bought from a broker.

Hand collection
Taken from rock seams above 17,000 ft by local highland collectors we work with directly.

Grading by density
Every rock is sorted by hand. Only dense, high-grade material goes forward.

Spring-water purification
Dissolved in glacier-fed spring water and filtered. No chemical solvents at any stage.

Plant-based clarification
Clarified the traditional way with moringa and triphala, then slowly sun-dried into resin.

Cold extraction
The finished resin is stabilised into a liquid concentrate at low temperature, then bottled and batch-tested.

“We don't manufacture shilajit. We preserve it.”
I'm Zahir Ali. I have made shilajit for 14 years and taken it myself, with my family, for 12. I started as a customer who couldn't find resin I trusted, so we went to the mountains ourselves. These drops come from that same resin, made in our own GMP-certified facility.

How to tell good shilajit drops from a bottle of guesswork.
A drop is only as good as the resin it came from and how gently it was made liquid. Check these seven things on any listing, including ours.

Is it safe? Every batch is tested before it ships.
The real risk with any shilajit is contamination from poorly purified resin. Each batch of our drops is sampled at our facility and tested by independent third-party labs for heavy metals, microbiology, aflatoxins and pesticides, with fulvic content reported on the COA. The reports are public.

Questions answered
Shilajit drops FAQ
What are shilajit drops?
Shilajit drops are a liquid form of shilajit, the natural mineral resin found in high mountain rock. Ours are made from our own purified Himalayan resin, cold-extracted at low temperature into a concentrate with purified spring water, so you can measure a daily serving with a dropper instead of scooping resin.
Are shilajit drops as good as shilajit resin?
That depends on what the drops are made from. Drops made from whole purified resin and extracted gently keep the character of the resin; drops made from a cheap powder diluted in glycerin do not. Ours come from the same resin we sell in jars. Resin is the least processed form; drops are the most convenient.
How many drops of shilajit should I take a day?
Take 5–10 drops once a day, mixed into water, milk or warm herbal tea. Start with 5 drops for the first week. Most people take it in the morning on an empty stomach or with a light meal.
Where does the best shilajit come from?
Shilajit is found in several mountain ranges, and quality depends on altitude, the grade of the rock and how it is purified. Ours is collected above 17,000 ft in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, where the Karakoram, Himalaya and Hindu Kush meet, then purified with spring water and plant-based clarification in our own facility.
Is it lab tested? Is it safe?
Every batch is tested by independent labs (AGROLAB Germany, Eurofins UK and USA, PCSIR) for heavy metals, microbiology, aflatoxins and pesticides, and fulvic content is verified. In the latest AGROLAB Germany report on the drops (batch BRTY56J, August 2025), lead, cadmium, mercury and PAHs were all within the EU limits for food supplements. Reports are on our Lab Reports page. Do not use shilajit if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and speak to your doctor first if you have a medical condition or take medication.
How can I tell if shilajit drops are real?
Check four things: the ingredient list (shilajit plus water, not glycerin or alcohol), a recent batch lab report you can actually read, who makes it (a manufacturer, not a reseller), and how it is processed (no solvents or heat reduction). Real shilajit disperses fully into warm water and turns it amber. Our guides cover this in more detail.
How fast is shipping, and what if I don't like it?
Orders ship within 2 business days with tracking: 4–7 days to the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Europe, and 12–16 days to the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Every order has a lifetime guarantee: return it opened or unopened, at any time, with no restocking fee. See our refund policy.
