What's inside each shilajit powder capsule

Shilajit powder, a plant-based HPMC shell and a small amount of organic arrowroot powder. No gelatin, no magnesium stearate, no titanium dioxide, no artificial colours. The Supplement Facts panel on the jar lists everything in it.

Why powder in a capsule instead of resin

Resin is shilajit in its traditional form: you dissolve a pea-sized piece in warm water, and the taste is strong and earthy. Powder is the same material with its moisture removed, which lets it be filled into a capsule at a fixed amount. You get the same daily routine without measuring, mixing or tasting it — useful for travel, work days, or anyone who has tried resin and could not get past the flavour.

Our shilajit is collected by local highland collectors in Gilgit-Baltistan, northern Pakistan, above 17,000 ft — the region where the Karakoram, Himalaya and Hindu Kush ranges meet. We work with the same collectors each season and grade the raw rock ourselves before it enters our facility.
